Each student in the undergraduate programs before being granted their diploma must complete an extensive senior capstone research project (“un mémoire” in French, or a “senior thesis”). These are extensive research projects that are worked on during the duration of the student’s final year, according to strict guidelines. This capstone is then presented before a committee who gives feedback and corrections to be made for the capstone. Once such corrections are made, the student has validated this requirement and, if all other academic requirements are fulfilled, is able to obtain his or her diploma.
The following are some of the research themes conducted by UNIF students for their senior capstone projects. UNIF's Department of Research will begin publishing senior capstone projects on the UNIF website soon.
