UNIF provides education for the poorest of Haiti – 61% come from extremely poor families (by UN poverty line), and the remaining 39% would be considered poor by the UN in middle-income countries such as Brazil. Average annual family income of our students is only $904 USD per year.
Only 8.6% students have abandoned UNIF completely for various reasons. This is incredible when you consider these are extremely poor students.
