Wiss Latouche has served as Vice Rector of Academic Affairs at the University of Fondwa since 2012. He received his undergraduate degree in agronomy from the Faculté d’Agronomie et de Médecine Vétérinaire de l’Université d’Etat d’Haiti (2007) and his Master of Science in Agronomy from the Université de Corse, France (2011).
Latouche has special interests in community development, environmentally sustainable agriculture techniques and food production practices. His research activities include the assessment of systems of water and sanitation in Haiti and the effects of different storage materials on the chemical and physical stability of food products.
The Department of Academic Affairs is responsible for controlling, coordinating, and supervising all academic programs at the University of Fondwa. This includes setting general degree requirements for graduating, coordinating the curriculum, and setting regulations on classes and exams. The head of the Department of Academic Affairs is the Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs.
The Department of Academic Affairs is composed of the three schools of UNIF (School of Agronomy, School of Business Management, and School of Veterinary Medicine). The Deans of each school manage those schools under the supervision of the Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs to whom they report.
